Registration/Recertification Officer

  • High-profile health sector organisation.
  • Contribute to our society.

The Physiotherapy Board protects the health and safety of the public by ensuring our physiotherapists are competent and fit to practice. The Board meets requirements by registering and recertifying practitioners, setting competence to practice standards, reviewing practitioners when concerns are raised, and accrediting training institutions.
The Registration/Recertification Officer will be responsible for processing new applications (including from international applicants) and Annual Practising Certificate applications, and for auditing practitioners’ continuing professional development.
Ideally you will have gained similar experience working for health regulator or be a recent graduate with some work experience in a services or regulatory environment. You must be a person who has exceptional judgement and attention to detail. You will be an effective communicator as you will engage directly with physiotherapists. This will require a calm and well-organised person who is happy to take on additional responsibility when required. A relevant tertiary qualification is essential along with a passion for public protection.
This is a great opportunity to join a great team of dedicated professionals in an organisation that has a culture focused on well-being.
