MotorSport New Zealand is the FIA appointed authority to regulate motor sport in New Zealand and is made up of 90-plus member clubs spread throughout the country.
The Development Manager reports to MotorSport New Zealand’s Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for developing national initiatives and programmes whilst supporting clubs and organisers to drive growth and increase participation in all areas within NZ motor sport. The Development Manager will also support clubs and organisers in the running of successful and sustainable events.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Experience of being involved in motor sport or at least a passion for motor sport
- A future-focussed and can-do attitude
- A sound understanding of the mechanisms and structures of sport and clubs
- Strong interpersonal skills and enjoy being public facing.
MotorSport New Zealand’s headquarters are based on the Kapiti Coast but the Development Manager can work remotely. There will be a requirement to travel throughout New Zealand to engage with clubs and volunteers, as well as to represent MotorSport New Zealand at events. MotorSport New Zealand has a great work-life balance culture and promotes flexible working.
