Accountant – Superannuation Fund

As the Accountant – Superannuation Fund, you will be ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the employer’s superannuation products, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for:
 

  • Managing the superannuation funds ensuring that the funds are fully invested and that contributions are regularly placed, with the fund managers, in accordance with the members investment mandates.
  • Carrying out all daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations between the financial records and registry resolving any issues as required.
  • Preparing annual accounts, managing the external audit, and managing the annual and half yearly member statements.
  • Ensuring all taxation and external financial reporting requirements are met.
  • Maintaining compliance with the FMCA, including ensuring all documentation is up to date on the Discloser Register, as well as financial reporting requirements.

 
Ideally you will have:
 

  • Relevant tertiary qualification and ideally CA qualified or equivalent.
  • Experience in a relevant industry.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact.
