Whānau Āwhina Plunket (the Royal New Zealand Plunket Trust) is looking for two new board members to be part of the governance team of Aotearoa’s largest NGO supporting the health and wellbeing of tamariki under-five and their whanau.
We are looking for people with governance experience, preferably in the health sector with familiarity and comfort within te ao Māori including whakawhānaungatanga, oranga, mātauranga, and te reo me ona tikanga.
The organisation is on a pro-equity journey to deliver its goals of Mauri Ora (healthy babies and children), Whanau Ora (healthy confident families) and Wai Ora (healthy environments and connected communities).
Whānau Āwhina Plunket touches the lives of 85% of all babies and are looking for experienced, committed, and courageous leaders who will be able to actively support the transformation that the organisation has begun.
