We are seeking a Human Resources Advisor to join our small HR team at the Education Review Office.  This role will combine your operational HR experience with your desire to develop your career and show your capability. This is a varied role, prioritising and managing the daily operational HR challenges with a particular focus on health and safety.  You will be flexible with a ‘can do’ approach to HR activities.
In this role, you will build, maintain, and contribute your human resources knowledge to the day-to-day functions by providing operational advice, guidance, and support across the organisation in areas such as health and safety, recruitment, and policy development.  You will also be responsible for the management of an outsourced payroll, including providing advice and support on general HR queries, assisting managers with recruitment, engagement surveys on and off-boarding, and employment agreements.

You will have an opportunity to build your reputation as a trusted advisor, via your communication skills, and strong organisational and problem-solving skills.  You will facilitate HR best practice through timely and accurate services and innovate change to improve practices.
To be successful in this position, you will preferably have undertaken some form of study leading to a tertiary qualification.
