Zero Invasive Predators

Zero Invasive Predators Ltd (ZIP) was established in February 2015 by the Department of Conservation and the NEXT Foundation.

ZIP’s mission is to rapidly develop the knowledge, tools and techniques required to completely remove possums, rats and stoats from large areas on the New Zealand mainland, and protect such areas from these predators re-establishing there.

ZIP is seeking an analyst/accountant to provide financial information about the ZIP Programme of work that will enable the ZIP team, particularly the Chief Executive (CE) and Directors, to achieve its mission.

In this role, you will primarily monitor, forecast and report on income and expenditure, and analyse the costs of existing and new tools/techniques to detect, remove and respond to predators.

While this is primarily a desk job, you will have opportunities to work at some amazing and interesting field sites as well.

If you have solid financial analysis skills and experience, have very good interpersonal skills, and want to be part of the ZIP mission, then please get on touch or apply now.

Entry to New Zealand from all countries remains strictly controlled to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. You may only apply for this role if you have the right to work in New Zealand. For information about New Zealand work or residence visas, please visit
