The Manawatū is recognised as one of the top three agrifood hubs in the world and is a leading produce distribution hub.

The Chief Executive is responsible for executing the overall strategic direction, management and leadership of the organisation and its staff. In addition, the CE will engage and develop relationships with key business leaders, iwi and local and central government stakeholders.

An understanding of local or central government processes would be beneficial. As a person, you will be politically aware and be comfortable engaging with stakeholders. You will be tertiary qualified in business management. Having a passion and belief in the Manawatū will also be important.

This role could suit a senior manager seeking their first CE position, and it will be an opportunity to further lift the profile of the region.
