The business is looking to appoint a Senior Advisor, Strategy, Planning and Performance, a newly created position, to work alongside the Deputy Chief Executive for the Strategy and Corporate Group. You will be expected to ensure the organisations strategy, planning and reporting are of very high standards by leading the business planning process, preparation of accountability documents and internal performance reporting. In addition, you will maintain and monitor the organisations assurance, risk and policy frameworks and provide advice across these areas to all relevant stakeholders.

To be successful in this position you will need to be agile as there are many facets to this position. You will have demonstrable ability to lead a technical function for an organisation. You will be an exceptional communicator with the ability to articulate complex material to a wide range of audiences including Ministers, cabinet and select committees. You will have experience analysing qualitative and quantitative data and developing written reports and presentations. You will provide intellectual and professional leadership across and within organisations and lead complex projects through to successful completion while anticipating future consequences. You will be committed to continuing to develop knowledge of Te Reo, Te Ao Maori and Tikanga.
To be considered for a position at Crown Law you must have a legal right to live and work in New Zealand and are required to complete a Ministry of Justice Criminal Records Check. For this position you will need a relevant tertiary qualification.
