As Skylight moves to the next stage of its development to meet the changing and growing needs of its communities, it is seeking an inspiring and innovative leader with exceptional relationship skills, strong digital competence and an empathy for and understanding of te ao Māori and New Zealand’s ethnic communities.
As a highly respected national service provider of online and in-person preventative and restorative mental health services, Skylight helps children, young people and their families navigate trauma, loss, grief and tough times. Its counselling network and programmes for young people are well-established with sound clinical, business processes and leadership overseen by professional governance. With this solid platform in place, Skylight is looking for its next CEO who can build the organisation nationally to deliver to an ever-growing need.
This is a great role for an astute leader with real energy who understands the bigger picture and would thrive on the challenge of finding innovative ways to achieve sustainable business growth.
You will have all-round business acumen, organisational leadership and the ability to shape and deliver the strategic agenda. You are a highly effective marketer who can foster and maintain excellent relationships with clients, funders and delivery partners across New Zealand, including Māori and other ethnic communities. Your understanding of digital business models and your cultural awareness will be particularly valuable.

There is the flexibility for this role to be four or five days per week and there may be some flexibility around location.
