About the role:
As the most senior finance person within this division, your responsibilities focus solely on supporting SLT to make informed decisions and to manage their finances in a fiscally prudent manner, while also taking a long-term financial sustainability and risk management perspective.
This includes proactively participating at SLT meetings to influence strategy/direction and business plans and assess the commercial viability/feasibility of options. It also includes building internal capability to improve the embedding and maturity of investment management frameworks across the division, as well as develop effective performance management frameworks to ensure the division is delivering on targets and operating within sector “best practice” compliance and rating guidelines.

Along with being CA qualified and having a healthy respect for accountability, we also seek a candidate who can bring thought leadership and innovation to the role and demonstrates sound commercial judgement and exceptional influencing and communication skills.
You will bring a strong appreciation of asset management and investment management frameworks gained within a capital-intensive industry, and any knowledge of contract management, procurement and programme management will also be viewed favourably.
