The Office for Māori Crown Relations – Te Arawhiti is dedicated to fostering strong, ongoing and effective relationships with Māori across Government. Our name symbolises the bridge between Māori and the Crown, the past and the future, and the journey from grievance to partnership.

Te Arawhiti’s kaupapa is to make the Crown a better Treaty partner – to re-set, sustain, and build the Māori Crown relationship towards true Treaty partnership.

The Planning and Reporting team will support the Executive and Leadership Group to plan and deliver Te Arawhiti’s strategy and meet its goals. The Advisor Planning and Reporting will play an important role in the team by assisting with the creation of clear and useful planning and accountability documents. In this role, you will ensure that key issues are identified by analysing performance metrics. As well, you will collect performance data and ensure that the performance measure database is always up to date.

You will also help coordinate Te Arawhiti’s planning process by capturing relevant information and assisting with the creation of planning documents that meet the needs of senior managers. An aspect of project management is involved in this role, including producing project reports and guidance material and assisting with the development of project management templates.

We are seeking someone who has demonstrated an interest in business planning and reporting.
