This exciting Wellington based role presents a great opportunity for you to take ownership, be a team player, and bring your thinking and professional leadership in the areas of health and disability to support the delivery of a safe and high-quality service. You will manage the day-to-day running of allocated services (whether residential, vocational, or Supported Living), providing guidance and support to other Service Managers as well as positively and proactively participating in the communities of practice.

Along with your leadership experience you will have demonstrable skills in behaviour support. You will be comfortable and confident working with competing demands in a team environment, as you will be balancing coordination and management of staff, budgets and services. Above all you will be committed to the importance of being out in the community providing person-centred holistic approaches to service support in partnership with staff, the people you support, and their families/whānau.

IHC will support you in gaining a leadership qualification, as well as providing other professional development opportunities. Generous entitlements are available for this hands-on service delivery role that will require a degree of flexibility including 5 days across a 7-day Mon-Sun period. Some on-call work will also be required.

In addition to this Wellington based role, equivalent positions are available in Taranaki, West/Central Auckland and Otago.
