The Role

New Zealand Red Cross is seeking a Service Delivery Manager to operationally manage ICT services across the organisation. This important new role has been created to support the Information Services Manager and build solid relationships across Red Cross and with outsourced vendors.

You’ll have experience of establishing and managing third party services, negotiating and managing contracts with vendors; ensuring they deliver on SLAs and managing corrective actions if they don’t.

Your background should also include service delivery or senior service desk experience making you comfortable orchestrating support at all levels. You’ll know when to escalate, when to negotiate, and how to problem solve.

You’ll be called on to visit Red Cross sites across NZ to ensure ICT services are meeting the needs of Red Cross and will get to see first-hand the vital humanitarian work of the organisation.

You’ll bring a continuous improvement approach, always looking for ways to make ICT serve the organisation better, and a customer-focused mindset. You’ll be adaptable, resourceful, and willing to step up when needed to support your colleagues on the front line.

You’ll have a minimum of three years in ICT service delivery, ideally with at least an ITIL foundation qualification.
